Bacon the Bulldog had lifesaving emergency surgery on 12/31/20. He came to Colorado a couple weeks later. Before becoming a resident, he racked up a hefty bill of 5k. We have raised $2500 so far of that bill but still need help to cover it! Please contribute and know that you helped save Bacon's life. He had xrays, bloodwork, cerenia injection, and surgery to remove the blockage. Bacon was adopted to a family on 1/24/21. They will love him forever and provide the nurturing home he needs and deserves. Please help us, help more dogs that needed a second chance and got it because of Douglas County Canine Rescue.

Here is some info on the life you saved!

Report from his Colorado Foster-

BACON is a 4 year old neutered male, Chocolate brown and white coloring, Kid friendly, Dog friendly. Bacon loves walks. He is great on a leash and doesn’t pull. He is super playful a couple times a day once he gets comfortable with you. His type of playful is on the floor licking your ears. He gets a little extra bounce in his step and a super wiggly butt and it’s on. He is super mellow and doesn’t bark much. He loves peanut butter in his Kong. He does have a red eye that currently needs drops. His wiggle butt will make you laugh and he love hugs and cuddles (with a little snoring) time built in.
